Why Visualible exists
Every great book has a place where readers stop.
It is rarely the ideas. It is a name nobody explains, a place the author assumes you know, a reference from a world that is gone. So you look it up, and the search becomes a second search, and the book is a tab you mean to return to.
Visualible was created for readers who want to stay inside serious, complex, context-rich books without constantly leaving the page to find background information.
The difficulty was never the point. The book was.
A different way to read
Beside, not instead.
Readers have always written in the margins of the books they love. A MeBook is a margin, prepared in advance: the original book, preserved as published, with optional context beside it for the people, places, terms, references and the story so far.
